Stauth Memorial Museum in Montezuma will be hosting the Western Kansas Art “Hang-In” 2018 exhibit beginning Sunday.
The exhibit is designed to give artists in western Kansas a showcase to exhibit their work, with any artist from western Kansas invited to display their art.
All art forms will be accepted, with a maximum of three works per artist. All artwork must be original to the artist/exhibitor and created within the last five years. All artwork must be entered in person by the artist.
The museum will have a “Hang-In” on Friday and Saturday, with artwork to be “hung” as it comes in the door and is checked in. When the exhibit space is full, no more artwork will be accepted. “Hang-In” times are 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4:30 p.m. each day. The art will be on display beginning Sunday and will close on June 24 with an artist’s reception from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
