Leadership Kansas’ 2018 class is meeting in Garden City this week, the first of six stops across Kansas the class will make over the coming months.

The class' stay in Garden City began Wednesday and continues through Friday. After side events in Gray County and a welcome dinner in Garden City on Wednesday, the class will participate in several discussions, presentations and panels on Kansas’ history, entrepreneurship, energy, agriculture, philanthropy and diversity. Members will also get out of the classroom to see the region’s industries firsthand, visiting Royal Farms Diary, Reeve Cattle Company, Sunflower Electric and Tyson Fresh Foods, as well as Garden City High School. The class will also meet with local dignitaries, elected officials and Leadership Kansas alumni.
