Sentencing for three men convicted in April of plotting to blow up an apartment complex in Garden City where Somali immigrants live and worship has been continued to September.

Patrick Stein of Wright, Gavin Wright of Beaver Okla., and Curtis Allen of Liberal were convicted on April 18 of conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction as well as conspiring to violate the housing rights of their intended victims. Wright also was found guilty of lying to the FBI.

The three men were scheduled to be sentenced in June, but on Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Eric Melgren rescheduled their sentencing proceedings for 1:30 p.m. Sept. 6 in U.S. District Court in Wichita.
