The concluding spring season presentation of the Finney County Historical Museum’s Evening at the Museum lecture series on April 17 will be a presentation by Norman Clark, focusing on German Mennonite history.
Now in its fourth year, the series features a different presentation on the third Tuesday of each month, January through April and September through November. All programs begin at 7 p.m. in the meeting room of the Finney County Historical Museum and run about an hour, followed by a question-and-answer session.
The session will draw on Clark’s own research and sources, as well as his past teaching experience. Clark taught middle school history for 41 years in Garden City, preceded by five years in Atwood and Victoria.
Admission is free and those who attend should use the museum’s north entrance. The museum staff will provide dessert and beverages. Listeners may bring their own dinner, if desired.
