The Kansas Cattlemen's Association will have a regional cattle producer's meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Clarion Inn Convention Center. A free meal will be served.

The meeting will include policy presentations, as well as an animal health seminar. An expert veterinarian from Production Animal Consultation will be on hand to discuss bovine respiratory disease, a complex bacterial infection that causes pneumonia in calves and can be fatal. There also will be a question-and-answer session and discussion about other ailments.

KCA staff will be on hand to provide a policy presentation and to answer questions and also will provide an updated review of active legislation and regulations.
