A Papa John’s Pizza delivery boy was robbed Friday night while he was on the job.

At around 9:36 p.m., Garden City police were dispatched to the 100 block of Shamrock St. in response to a reported robbery. The police investigation revealed that the victim was delivering pizza to a residence when, after he exited his vehicle, two unknown Hispanic males engaged him in conversation. Shortly thereafter, the two suspects allegedly stole the pizzas and other items from the victim and fled on foot, according to police. No injuries were reported.

Officers spoke to witnesses in the area, but no description of the men was given other than that both were Hispanic.

The investigation is ongoing, and the Garden City Police Department is requesting assistance from the community.
