This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Downtown Banner Art Project.

To celebrate the event, the Annual Banner Art Auction is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Clarion Convention Center on Nov. 4.

The auction, presented by Price & Sons Funeral Home and Bors Law, PA, began 10 years ago as part of Downtown Vision’s goal to improve the downtown streetscapes.

The event has more than doubled over the years, with this year’s project featuring 21 artists and 46 hand painted banners.

“It is exciting to see how the Banner Art Project has grown over the years.” said Myca Bunch, Executive Director for Downtown Vision.  “The artists, both new and returning, have created many beautiful banners to help celebrate this anniversary year.”

Auction tickets are $35 each in advance. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door for $40. Corporate tables are also available for $300.

Ticket price includes auction admission, auction preview and cocktail hour, and a full buffet dinner courtesy of Tyson Fresh Foods.

The 2017 Banner Art Auction Sponsors are Price and Sons Funeral Home; Bors Law, PA; Tyson Fresh Foods; Finney County Convention & Visitors Bureau; Golden Plains Credit Union; Irsik & Doll; Lee & Brenda Reeve; Commerce Bank; Builder’s First Source; Wheatland Broadband; MBA Real Estate and Regan Jewelers.
