Jim Barnett, a recently declared candidate for the Republican nomination for

governor, announced the second phase of a statewide tour focusing on agriculture, feedlots,

seed, grain and value-added products.

Barnett will make a stop in Healy today at 4:30 p.m. at Sharp Seed Company.

Phase one of the tour included stops in Great Bend, Kinsley, Dodge City, Garden City and Scott

City.

“Last week, on the first phase of the tour, numerous good ideas came forth regarding roads,

water, and marketing,” Barnett said. “I look forward to hearing the issues that get raised later

this week.”
