Silvia Galvez-Discua, 61, of Garden City, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Center in Wichita.

Silvia Galvez-Discua, 61, of Garden City, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Center in Wichita.

She was born Feb. 15, 1952, in Mexico City, DF, to Pedro Manzano Galvez and Alicia Discua Aparicio.

On Dec. 12, 1995, she married Victor Sanchez at the Finney County Courthouse in Garden City.

Survivors include her husband, Victor; two sons, Aldo Rodriguez Galvez and Marco Rodriguez Galvez; two sisters, Maria Eugenia Galvez Discua and Patricia Galvez Discua; and two grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Rosary will begin at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City. Funeral Mass will follow at 7 p.m. at the church.
