Delbert "Half Breed" Tonne, 77, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City.

Delbert "Half Breed" Tonne, 77, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City.

He was born April 6, 1936, in Anaheim, Calif.

In July 1977, he married Carol Davis in Satanta. She died Jan. 7, 1999. He also was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

A resident of southwest Kansas since 1967, Mr. Tonne was a truck driver for feed yards.

Survivors include a daughter, Denise Walter of Deerfield; two sons, Dennis and Dale Tonne, both of Fairmount, Minn.; and several grandchildren.

There will be no services.
