MONTEZUMA — Linda Sue Isaac, 65, of Montezuma, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City.

MONTEZUMA — Linda Sue Isaac, 65, of Montezuma, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City.

She was born Oct. 20, 1948, in Fairview, Okla., to Harlan and Elsie Penner Nightengale. She graduated from Fairview High School.

On Nov. 8, 1970, she married John Isaac in Fairview. They lived in the Ingalls area after their marriage, returning to Montezuma in 1987.

In addition to her husband, survivors include three children, Keri Koehn of Fort Sumner, N.M., Brent Isaac of Delta, Colo., and Lisa Lehman of Jeromesville, Ohio; a sister, Rita Schmidt of Harwood, Mo.; two brothers, Lyndon Nightengale of Fairview, and Jon Nightengale of Bentonville, Ark.; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and twin brothers, Warren Larry and Lauren Terry Nightengale.

Funeral will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Homeland Mennonite Church in Montezuma. Burial will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Cemetery in Fairview.

Visitation hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Swaim Funeral Chapel of Montezuma. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com. Memorials are suggested to Dodge City Mennonite Mission, in care of the funeral home.
