TRIBUNE — Phillip Duane "Phil" Bryant, 82, died Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, at Greeley County Health Center in Tribune.

TRIBUNE — Phillip Duane "Phil" Bryant, 82, died Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, at Greeley County Health Center in Tribune.

He was born July 4, 1931, in Pratt County, to Hugh C. and Ruby Petefish Bryant.

A resident of Tribune since 1960, Mr. Bryant was owner/operator of Bryant Ditching & Excavating Service.

On Sept. 2, 1983, he married Dessa F. Doty in Syracuse. She survives. Other survivors include five stepchildren, Marty McCullough of Wallace, Dessa Woods of Tribune, Glenna Fogo of Larned, Gary Doty of Stafford, and Pamela Babcock of Scott City; a sister, Joyce Bird of Lawrence; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Don Bryant.

Graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. MDT Thursday at Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune.

Visitation hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune. Condolences may be sent at Memorials are suggested to the Phil Bryant Memorial Fund for Greeley County Health Center Long Term Care, in care of the funeral home.
