HUGOTON — Alice L. Clifft, 72, died Dec. 1, 2012, in her home in Hugoton.

HUGOTON — Alice L. Clifft, 72, died Dec. 1, 2012, in her home in Hugoton.

She was born on May 25, 1940, to William T. Heskett and Margaret Hickey, in Meade.

On March 8, 1957, she married Billy A. Clifft in Meade. He preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 1976.

She raised Bill Clifft's children, Russell D. Clift and Elisibeth A Clifft Leonard Webster, as her own.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill Clifft; one son, Russell Clifft; one daughter, Elisibeth A. Clifft Leonard Webster; one brother, Jim Heskett; and one sister, Lois Dye.

Mrs. Clifft is survived by one daughter, Linda Holcomb of Hugoton; one son, Kevin Clifft; two brothers, Tom Heskett of Joplin, Mo., and Dale Heskett of Rockwell, Texas; one sister, Virginia Jindra of Kingfisher, Okla.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

There will be no public viewing or services. Mrs. Clifft chose to be cremated, and a private family service will be held at a later date.
