ELKHART — Pauline Thompson, 76, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.

ELKHART — Pauline Thompson, 76, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.

She was born Feb. 19, 1936, in Guymon, Okla., to Alfred and Minnie Wainscott Robinson.

On June 20, 1952, she married Larry Thompson in Guymon. They moved to the farm in Morton County in 1954 and began farming together. He died Feb. 5, 2004. She also was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include a son, Stephen L. Thompson of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Nita J. Thompson and Terry L. Ferguson, both of Elkhart; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Elkhart.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church for missionaries or to Morton County Library, both in care of Garnand Funeral Home, Box 854, Elkhart, KS 67950.
