Darlene Elaine Rundle, 84, of Garden City, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2013.
She was born Oct. 14, 1929, in Hoisington, to Henry Wilhelm Jr. and Martha Ernst Wilhelm. She attended school in Galatia.
On Nov. 7, 1954, she married Darwin Arthur Rundle in Ellsworth. He died in August 2013. She also was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ernest.
A Garden City resident since 1959, Mrs. Rundle was a long-time sales associate at Alco and a member of St. James Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her children, Deborah and husband Derek Dixon of Wichita, and Daniel and wife Joni Rundle of Prairie Village; a brother, Le Roy and wife Arlene Wilhelm of Great Bend; two sisters, Janiece Cowan of Augusta, and Janeal Rodecape and husband Homer of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and three grandchildren, Allisa and husband Chris Prokopanko, Chris Rundle and Nick Rundle.
A Celebration of Life will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Downing & Lahey Mortuary East, Wichita.
