Louis Castillo

Louis Castillo passed away peacefully Nov. 13, 2012.

Born to Gabriel and Sarah Castillo on Jan. 28, 1949, the fourth child of eight.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Francisco and Bentura Lopez; his maternal grandparents, Lupe Avila and Eleanor Rodriguez; and his parents, Gabriel B. Castillo and Sarah Avila.

Louis is survived by his wife of 35 years, Maria "Lucy" Castillo; brothers and sisters, Gilbert Castillo, Martha Castillo Workman, Maria Aurora Cantu, Alfred Leo Castillo, Henry Castillo and Beatris Castillo Guzman; his nephews, Danny Torres, Thomas Casillas Jr., Gabriel Ceniceros Jr., Robert Olson, Alfred Castillo Jr., Aaron Serna, Henry Castillo Jr., Angel Castillo, and Gilbert and Apolo Andrade; his nieces, Ann Marie Tatum, Sofia Castillo, Cecilia M. Casillas, Renee Castillo Seliz, Angela Castillo Herrera and Esrella Andrade; and 46 great-nephews and nieces and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Louis lived in Garden City all his life, was raised by his loving grandparents, Francisco and Bentura Lopez.

Louis was known for his gregarious laughter and his warm and affectionate heart, he will be missed by all.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 24, 2012, at Iglesia Lutherna La Resurreccion, 518 N. 11th St., Garden City, KS 67846 (620-805-1318)

Burial at Valley View Cemetery, Garden City.

Family and friends are invited back to the church after burial for gathering.

Rest in Peace

Left behind so many wonderful memories. You will always be remembered in our hearts always, and not a day will go by when I don't remember those good old days. You were loved by everyone and will be missed. Rest in peace Lil brother.

Too soon

louis

louis was a freind of mine. he drove a hay truck at the hay mill back in the late 60s early 70s. he was a good freind and a hard worker. god bless his family. my prayers are with you

Louie Castillo

Louie was a great person and always a good friend.
He alway laughing and with a smile. I will miss the great conversations we use to have. He will be missed by many. God bless him always.
