SCOTT CITY — Frances V. Kostner Luke, 95, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2013, at Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City.
She was born Sept. 26, 1918, in El Dorado, to Frank and Alice Ryan Mulnix.
A longtime resident of Scott City, Mrs. Luke was a homemaker.
On June 8, 1944, she married Clark F. Kostner. He died in 1959. On Sept. 4, 1973, she married Clarence D. Luke. He died Oct. 23, 1991, in Scott City. She also was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Marcella Mallo and Mary Heath; a brother, Dwuane Mulnix; and a granddaughter.
Survivors include three sons, Clark F. Kostner of Leawood, William B. Kostner of Littleton, Colo., and Robert R. Kostner of Wichita; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A vigil prayer service will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Scott City. Funeral will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be at Scott City Cemetery.
