Garden City Police Department Arrests/Citations

Wednesday

Mariah Pimentel, 15, 2808 Terrace Place, No. 1, was arrested at 9:22 a.m. at Garden City High School, 2720 Buffalo Way, on allegations of battery and disorderly conduct and released to Programs Assessment Treatment Habilitation.

Jesicka Norton, 14, 950 N. Jennie Barker Road L147, was arrested at 10 a.m. at GCHS on allegations of battery and disorderly conduct and released to PATH.

Jerry Arnold, 62, Satanta, was cited and released at 10:10 a.m. in the 800 block of North Main Street on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Cornelius Mantens, 50, Copeland, was cited and released at 10:36 a.m. in the 100 block of West Walnut Street on an allegation of no valid driver's license.

Jose Manriquez, 40, 4170 E. U.S. Highway 50, No. 505, was cited and released at 11:29 a.m. in the 300 block of East Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no valid driver's license.

Steven Moore, 43, 312 N. Fourth St., was arrested at 3:23 p.m. in the 1200 block of East Spruce Street on a municipal warrant.

Tuesday

Mary Lara, 40, 924 N. 10th St., was arrested at 8:53 p.m. in the 400 block of West Buffalo Jones Avenue on allegations of driving while suspended and no proof of insurance.

Monday

Barbara Lee Avalos, 30, 2820 Terrace Place, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. on an out-of-county warrant.

Ricardo Galvez-Aguayo, 20, 4170 E. U.S. Highway 50, was arrested at 11:45 p.m. on possession of depressant, possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia and possession of a hallucinogenic drug.

Thefts/Losses

Wednesday

Between 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and 9:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 2700 block of Chainey Street, an unknown person took the victim's motor scooter without permission. Loss $400.

Tuesday

Between 11 p.m. Sunday and 10:06 a.m. Tuesday in the 2800 block of Squire Place, an unknown person entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a wallet and its contents and a container of coins. Loss $112.

Between 3 and 3:05 p.m. at Wheatlands Country Store, 1521 E. Fulton St., an unknown person used the victim's credit card to purchase unknown items. Loss $46.

Criminal Damage

Monday

Between 1 p.m. Sept. 24 and 1 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of Isabel Avenue, an unknown person used paint to spray graffiti on a concrete wall and metal ramp. Loss $40.

Miscellaneous

Wednesday

At 7:30 p.m. in the 2500 block of North Sixth Street, a known person battered the victim, who is a family member. Investigation continues.

Tuesday

Between 9:15 and 10:30 a.m. in the 300 block of East Spruce Street, a known person cursed at the victim, causing her alarm.

Thursday

Darren Cole Mason, 47, 11250 E. Aerodrome Road, was arrested at 1:42 a.m. on an allegation of driving under the influence.

Wednesday

Faustino Mardoqueo Aju Tujal, 28, 207 Spencer St., was arrested at 9:40 a.m. on an allegation of operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license.

Sergio Arath Martinez, 31, 4875 Hillcrest Road, was arrested at 10:05 a.m. on an allegation of operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license.

Jamie Lamar Strickland, 31, 100 Edgewood Drive, Mumelle, Ark., was arrested at 10:11 a.m. on allegations of exceeding the maximum speed limit and driving while suspended.

Justino Robert Carrillo, 27, 1203 Parkwood Lane, was arrested at 7:55 a.m. on allegations of driving while suspended and exceeding the maximum speed limit.

Tuesday

Wesley Rosbroy Laufenberg, 29, 2202 N. Third St., was arrested at 3:40 p.m. on an allegation of driving a commercial vehicle while under the influence.

At 2:02 p.m. at East U.S. Highway 50 and North Towns Road — steam, vapor, fog or dust thought to be smoke.
