Margaret P. McCollum

SCOTT CITY — Margaret P. "Sandy" McCollum, 88, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City.She was born March 1, 1924, in Ness City to Tony and Lovena Wendler Meis.
On May 11, 1946, she married Richard A. "Dick" McCollum in Scott City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and four brothers.
Survivors include two sons, Tom and John McCollum, both of Scott City; three daughters, Patti Hoeme, Anita McCollum and Judy Browning, all of Scott City; one sister, JoAnn Whitham-Hansen of Elkhart; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at First Christian Church in Scott City. Interment will take place at the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City. Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City.
