Garden City Police Department Arrests/Citations

Tuesday

Rosaura Guevara, 17, 4101 E. U.S. Highway 50, No. 569, was cited and released at 12:50 a.m. in the 600 block of Gardendale Drive on an allegation of curfew violation and released to parent.

Kelsey Hamill, 19, 1510 Pats Drive, was cited and released at 12:50 a.m. in the 600 block of Gardendale Drive on an allegation of contributing to a child's misconduct or deprivation.

Martha Bravo-Vasquez, 36, 2224 W. Kansas Ave., No. 23, was cited and released at 5:27 a.m. in the 1300 block of North Taylor Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Monday

Aisha Rios, 18, 1704 Fleming St., was cited and released at 10:22 a.m. in the 1700 block of Fleming Street on allegations of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Cruz Carillo, 16, 210 Spencer St., was arrested at 11:20 a.m. at Programs Assessment Treatment Habilitation, 2701 N. 11th St., on an arrest-and-detain order.

Robert Nugent, 17, 2319 N. Seventh St., was arrested at 11:30 a.m. in the 2700 block of North 11th Street on an allegation of consumption by a minor and released to PATH.

Nisha Williams, 16, 3501 Campus Drive, No. A205, was arrested at 3 p.m. at Target, 2401 E. Kansas Ave., on an allegation of theft of a microwave. Estimated loss $200.

Fatima Thomas, 43, 3501 Campus Drive, No. A205, was cited and released at Target on allegations for contributing to a child's misconduct, theft and possession of stolen property for theft of a microwave. Estimated loss $200.

Baltazar Mesino, 20, 6005 Old Post Road was arrested at 5:27 p.m. in the 2600 block of North 10th Street on an allegation of driving while suspended.

Husimo Avalos-Sanchez, 20, 1617 Jan St., was arrested at 7:54 p.m. in the 300 block of Washington Street on allegations of driving under the influence, driving while suspended, no proof of insurance, accident involving damage, duty to give information and duty upon striking unattended vehicle.

Luis Angel Reyes, 15, 1705 Pinecrest Ave., was arrested at 8:16 p.m. at Dillons East, 1305 E. Kansas Ave., on an allegation of theft after eating three donuts and failing to pay for them and was released to PATH. Loss $2.

Dillon Ray Rojas, 15, 1705 Pinecrest Ave., was arrested at 8:16 p.m. at Dillons East on an allegation of theft after eating three donuts and failing to pay for them and was released to PATH. Loss $2.

Joseph Avitua, 16, 403 E. Kansas Ave., was arrested at 9:38 p.m. in the 600 block of Garden City Avenue on an arrest-and-detain order and a district court warrant for no valid driver's license and failure to stop at a stop sign.

Steve Escobedo, 21, Dodge City, was cited and released at 9:53 p.m. in the 400 block of West Mary Street on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Matthew Duane Stratton, 33, 2505 B St., was arrested at 9:57 p.m. in the 400 block of West Mary Street on a municipal warrant for failure to appear.

A 14-year-old male was arrested at 10:40 p.m. at Dillons East on an allegation of theft after dringing a fountain drink and failing to pay for it and released to PATH. Loss $1.

Michael Venturi, 17, 806 N. First St., was arrested at 10:40 p.m. at Dillons East on an allegation of theft after dringing a fountain drink and failing to pay for it and released to PATH. Loss $1.

Jared Cdebaca, 27, Farmington, N.M., was cited and released at 11:17 p.m. in the 100 block of West Spruce Street on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Sunday

Khein Neing, 42, 305 W. Mary St. I2, was arrested at 12:40 p.m. in the 1800 block of West Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no valid driver's license.

Thursday

Francisco, Becerril-Ramirez, 35, 2106 Arapaho Drive, was cited and released at 9:18 a.m. in the 200 block of West Campbell Street on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Thefts/Losses

Monday

Between 3 and 3:45 p.m. at Walmart, 3101 E. Kansas Ave., an unknown person stole six bottles of Cool Water cologne. Loss $300.

Between 3 p.m. Saturday and 6:30 p.m. Monday in the 1600 block of Safford Avenue, an unknown person stole two bicycles. Loss $180.

Friday

Between 5 and 6 p.m. in the 2300 block of Lee Street, an unknown person took a tag that had fallen off a vehicle. Loss $2.

Oct. 7

Between 6:45 and 7:15 p.m. in the 1200 block of North Taylor Avenue, an unknown person took a wallet from an unknown restaurant. Loss $10.

Garden City Fire Department

Monday

At 3:39 p.m. at 3105 IBP Road — motor vehicle accident with injuries.
