PIERCEVILLE — Darrell Walker, 69, died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at his home in Pierceville.
He was born Sept. 3, 1944, in Garden City, to William Wesley and Rebecca Lucille Eichenauer Walker.
A lifetime Finney County resident, Mr. Walker was a self-employed farm equipment trader.
On June 3, 1962, he married Marcella Waltz in Garden City. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Brenda Spears of Winfield, and Linda Lindeman of Manhattan; two sons, Duane Walker of Bella Vista, Ark., and Danny Walker of Garden City; four sisters, Charlotte Newman of Syracuse, Sharon Schmidt and Barbara Gibeaut, both of Simi Valley, Calif., and Darlene Walker of Garden City; a brother, Don Walker of Lakin; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jimmy; and a brother, Walter.
