County commission expected to approve tax abatement

Finney County commissioners on Monday are expected to sign a resolution for a property tax abatement for Wind River Grain, LLC.

In July, commissioners unanimously approved the company's property tax abatement request, at a 20 percent level for a 10-year period, for a 90-foot steel bin with a conveyor upgrade.

The commission is scheduled to meet at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Finney County Administrative Center, 311 N. Ninth St.

The commission also will receive monthly reports from the Finney County Health Department, Public Works and emergency medical services.
