SCOTT CITY — Michael D. Kitch, 63, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at Scott County Hospital in Scott City.

SCOTT CITY — Michael D. Kitch, 63, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at Scott County Hospital in Scott City.

He was born June 21, 1950, in North Platte, Neb., to Harold E. "Gene" and Darline Dirks Kitch.

A lifetime resident of Scott City, Mr. Kitch was a restaurant owner and operator.

Survivors include two sons, Cory M. Kitch of Stromsberg, Neb., and Kelly M. Kitch of Little Rock, Ark.; a brother, Ronald Kitch of Scott City; a sister, Pamela Gruver of Scott City; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Scott City. Inurnment will be at a later date.

There will be no visitation. Condolences may be given at www.priceandsons.com or pricefh@wbsnet.org. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Area 96, in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, KS 67871.
