George Walter Walker, 52, of Dodge City, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City.

George Walter Walker, 52, of Dodge City, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City.

He was born June 18, 1961, in Garden City, to George Lee and Nellie Fern Walker.

Survivors include two brothers, Vernon and Larry Watson, both of Garden City; and a sister, Linda Penn. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Dodge City Mennonite Church. Burial will be at Cimarron Cemetery in Cimarron.

Visitation hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City.
