Former Garden City resident Leo F. McMahon Jr., 56, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, in Amarillo, Texas.

Former Garden City resident Leo F. McMahon Jr., 56, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, in Amarillo, Texas.

He was born Sept. 10, 1957, in Menlo, Iowa, to Leo F. Sr. and Selma M. Michaelson McMahon.

A resident of Amarillo since 1998, Mr. McMahon was an independent truck driver.

Survivors include a brother, Stephen McMahon of Pampa, Texas; and three sisters, Mary Cruz of Dodge City, Kathy McMillan of Garden City, and Christine Parker of Pampa. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Teresa Woodward and Rose Keys.

A memorial graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.

There will be no visitation. Memorials to the Leo McMahon Memorial Fund may be sent in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
