Helen Mae Naab, 72, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at her home in Garden City.
She was born Dec. 23, 1940, in Ketchum, Okla., to Chester and Ruth Bosarge Burnett.
A resident of Garden City since 1963, Mrs. Naab had worked as a cashier for Walmart for 12 years, retiring in 2010.
On Dec. 14, 1956, she married Raymond Naab in Raton, N.M. He survives. Other survivors Include a son, Barry Naab of Belton, Mo.; two daughters, Karen Clepper of Holcomb, and Janet Sader of Garden City; four brothers, Ted Burnett of Boiling Springs, Mo., Bill Burnett of Goshen, Ind., Marvin Burnett of Rocky Comfort, Mo., and Avon Burnett of Lamar, Mo.; a sister, Patricia Anderson of Blue Springs, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Barbara Heeke; two brothers, Eul and Carl Burnett; and two sisters, Jean Scott and June Rose Burnett.
A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City. Burial will be at a later date at St. Mary Cemetery in Marienthal.
