ULYSSES — Kathy Lynn Anderson, 60, of Ulysses, died Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita.

ULYSSES — Kathy Lynn Anderson, 60, of Ulysses, died Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita.

She was born Sept. 24, 1953, in Wellington, to Latin and Lenora Maxine Sams Anderson.

For the past two years, she had worked in the dietary department of Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses.

Survivors include a son, Jake Gallant of Kansas City; two daughters, Kandy Meier of Ulysses, and Shelly Stout of Bucklin; a brother, Max Anderson of Glorieta, N.M.; five grandsons; and one granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Feb. 7 at Country View Baptist Church in Ulysses. Inurnment will follow at Ulysses Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave., Ulysses, KS 67880.
