Tim Wade Warren, 55, of Garden City, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
He was born Sept. 15, 1957, in Liberal, to Alfred and Carolyn Vaughn Warren.
A Garden City resident since 1968, he graduated from Garden City High School in 1975.
On March 27, 1976, he married Chris Guebara in Garden City.
A self-employed painter and handy man, Mr. Warren was owner and operator of Tim Warren Painting. He enjoyed art, painting, hunting, fishing, gardening, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, Tim Warren and wife Maria of Kansas City, Mo.; four daughters, Melissa Warren of Garden City, Andrea Martuszewski and husband John of Ft. Belvoir, Va., Cassandra Muniz and husband John of Garden City, and Stacy Warren of Larned; two brothers, Bill Warren and wife Mary of Grand Island, Neb., and Alfred Warren and wife Betty of Liberal; five sisters, Mary Landureth and husband John of Liberal, Aleta Whitfield and husband Larry of Liberal, Ruth Wallace of Garden City, Alicia Vanatta and husband Wayne of Willis, Texas, and Patty Warren of Garden City; 23 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Larry Dean Warren; and a sister, Tami Jo Warren.
Funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at Word of Life Church in Garden City. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.
Visitation hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City, with the family meeting with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Condolences may be emailed to email@example.com.
