Eva Kellams

DIGHTON — Eva Kellams, 93, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at Lane County Long Term Care in Dighton.
She was born Feb. 17, 1919, in Stafford County, to Chester and Florence Curtis Cooper. She graduated from high school in Sublette.
On Sept. 1, 1937, she married Wallace "Wally" Kellams in Langdon. He died Jan. 21, 1997. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Virgil Cooper; a sister, Maxine Hill; and a granddaughter.
A longtime resident of Dighton, Mrs. Kellams had worked as a checker at Munstead IGA and Newsom IGA.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy Thomas of Dighton, and Pam Homeier of Salina; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Dighton. Burial will be at Dighton Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation hours are noon to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Boomhower Funeral Home, Dighton. Condolences may be emailed to garnandfh@sbcglobal.net.
