Sheila Opal Tackett, 63, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at her home in Liberal.

Sheila Opal Tackett, 63, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at her home in Liberal.

She born Aug. 17, 1950, in Joplin, Mo., to Leslie "Jake" and Maxine Holding Tackett.

Survivors include a brother, Dennis Tackett, location unknown; and three sisters, Billie Catron of Wichita, Carol Rogers of Greenwood, Ark., and Marilyn Faure of Houston. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Gary and Jerry Tackett.

Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life is planned at Mosaic in Liberal at a later date. A private inurnment will take place at Kechi Township Cemetery in Kechi.

Sheila had chosen the supportive program of Mosaic, including the one at Garden City, to help her. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested for Mosaic in Liberal, to assist her friends with services, and may be sent in care of Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. Second, Liberal, KS 67901.
