HUGOTON: Akela Clark Miller, a Hugoton High School graduate, is a senior majoring in marketing.

Clayton J. Mills, a Hugoton High School graduate, is a freshman majoring in computer science.

Erica Paige Salazar is majoring in elementary education (early childhood).

MOSCOW: Mackenzie Marie Dobie, a Moscow High School graduate, is a senior majoring in nursing.

WICHITA COUNTY

LEOTI: Clancy Lea Masterson, a Wichita County High School graduate, is a sophomore majoring in education.

Michael Lee Wilson is a sophomore majoring in education.

Students make Pratt honor rolls

Six students from southwest Kansas were named to the Pratt Community College fall 2013 president's honor roll and dean's honor roll.

In order to be on the president's honor roll, a student must be taking at least 12 credit hours and must have a 4.0 grade-point average.

The area students who made the president's honor roll were: Cody Strecker, Garden City; Ericka Nevarez, Plains; and Kelby Ross, Meade.

In order to be on the dean's honor roll, a student must be taking at least 12 credit hours and have between a 3.5 to 3.99 GPA.

The following students were named to the PCC dean's honor roll:

Brendan Pfeifer, Holcomb; Dirk Torson, Dighton; Berenice Olvera, Plains.

Ulysses students on dean's list at Hardin University

The following local residents are among more than 1,200 Harding University students included on the dean's list for grades achieved during the fall 2013 semester:

Kristin Baldwin, a senior from Ulysses, and Sawyer Hite, a freshman from Ulysses.

To be eligible, a student must carry 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average. Harding is the largest private university in Arkansas with 6,295 students.

Sarchet makes OCU dean's list

A former Hugoton resident has been named to Oklahoma City University's dean's honor roll.

Lauren Sarchet has been named to the dean's honor roll for the fall 2013 semester.

Students must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours during a semester to meet the honor roll requirements and maintain a 3.5 grade-point average.

Oklahoma City University is a co-educational, urban private university located in Oklahoma City. The university is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and offers a wide variety of degrees in the liberal arts, fine arts, sciences and business.

Schneider on St. Mary dean's list

The University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth has announced its fall 2013 dean's honor list.

Charlton Schneider of Tribune has been named to the honor roll, ending the semester with a grade-point average of 3.5 or better.

Ingalls releases fall honor roll

Ingalls Junior and Senior High School has released its first semester honor roll.

The following students received a 4.0 grade average:
