PLAINS — William "Bill" Berg, 67, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Crestview, Fla.

PLAINS — William "Bill" Berg, 67, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Crestview, Fla.

He was born April 30, 1946, in Mexico, to Bernard and Justina Sawazchky Berg.

Mr. Berg was a truck driver for most of his life.

On July 13, 1969, he married Elena Penner in Mexico. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Benny Berg of Alberta, Canada, and Johnny Berg of Sublette; two daughters, Agnes Peters of Sublette, and Christina Redekop of Mexico; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers; and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters.

Funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at Gospel Mennonite Church in Sublette. Burial will follow at Haskell County Cemetery in Sublette.
