ROLLA — Earlene Williams, 80, a lifetime resident of Rolla, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita.

ROLLA — Earlene Williams, 80, a lifetime resident of Rolla, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita.

She was born March 13, 1933, in Rolla, to Earl Roger and Beva Roxanna Bartley Ipson.

On July 21, 1951, she married Perry A. Williams in Rolla. He died Jan. 3, 1995. She also was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Earl Roger Ipson.

Survivors include three sons, Brian Williams of Amarillo, Texas, Jack Williams of Rolla, and Greg Williams of Tulsa, Okla.; a daughter, Sue Anne Villarreal of Wichita; two brothers, James Ipson of Surprise, Ariz., and Louis Ipson of Mulvane; a sister, Eileen Firmin of Mesquite, Texas; and four granddaughters.

Funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Rolla. Burial will follow at Rolla Cemetery.

Visitation hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart. Memorials are suggested to the Rolla Hope Project, in care of Garnand Funeral Home, Box 854, Elkhart, KS 67950.
