John Green

John Vernon Green, 68, of Wichita, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013.

He was born Oct. 20, 1944, in Garden City, to Frank and Fern Clews Green.

Survivors include his wife, Gretchen Rupert; his sons, Leland Green of Wichita, and Lance Green of Rose Hill; and three grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death.

A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Jan. 19 at Cochran Mortuary, 1411 N. Broadway in Wichita.
