Bob Ellis won high in the two tables of senior center pitch played Tuesday at the Senior Center of Finney County, 907 N. 10th St. Second place went to Maybelle Bowen. Elvin Hazen was third.

Happy Hustlers 4-H

Members of the Happy Hustlers 4-H Club answered roll call at the March 3 meeting by naming something green. Answers included pickles, a tree, a hot pepper and Mountain Dew. Fourteen members and their families attended the meeting at the 4-H building. All members were asked to wear something green and to bring a topping for the baked potato bar supper that was held before the meeting.

Reports of officers were given by the club treasurer, reporter and leader. For the program, Tristan Clark showed the club how to make firecrackers. Sisters Abby and Elly Murrell showed the club how to make ham and egg cups.

During recreation, Wyatt Gigot and Tristan Clark led the club in playing the hot potato relay. Tristan Clark gave the citizenship tip.

Carol Bradford won high in the three tables of senior center double pinochle played Monday at the Senior Center of Finney County, 907 N. 10th St. Mary Joseph took second place. Third went to Peggy Phipps.
