Police are seeking assistance in locating 31-year-old Richard Sky Matthews, 950 Jennie Barker Road, No. 144, who is wanted on a warrant for aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, kidnapping and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Matthews is described as 6-foot tall, 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

According to Garden City police Sgt. Michael Reagle, at about 2:43 a.m. Jan. 12, officers went to 2006 E. Fair St. in response to an aggravated burglary.¬

"It is alleged Matthews and James Wilson, 25, 950 Jennie Barker Road, No. 144, forced their way into the residence while several people were inside.¬ It is alleged Matthews was armed with a handgun and the two of them allegedly stole various items from the house to include cell phones and a purse," Reagle said.

Reagle also said that one of the victims was forced to move around the residence with the two men as they were looking for items.

Wilson was arrested on Jan. 18 at the Law Enforcement Center, on allegations of aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and kidnapping and remains in jail on a $60,000 bond.
