Seventh Annual Six by Six Art Show and Sale: Offering original works by students and established area artists, all priced at $20 and each executed on ready-to-hang six-inch blocks of wood, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Mercer Gallery in the west wing of the Pauline Joyce Fine Arts Building at Garden City Community College, 801 Campus Drive.

45th Annual Garden City Community College Intercollegiate Rodeo: Featuring more than 400 college and university competitors from Kansas and Oklahoma, 7:30 p.m. today and Sunday and 1:30 p.m. Monday at Horse Palace indoor arena on the west end of the Finney County Fairgrounds in Garden City. Admission on sale at gate.

Memorial service: Rescheduled memorial service in remembrance of Garden Valley Retirement Village residents who have died since Jan. 1, 2012, 2 p.m. at GVRV, 1505 E. Spruce St. The public is encouraged to attend. For more information, call 275-5036.

Health Department

Hours at the Finney County Health Department, 919 Zerr Road, are 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Friday hours are 8 a.m. to noon.
