Shelby Nolen and Clay Livingston, both of Jacksonville, N.C., were married Feb. 15, 2014, at Jacksonville Conference Center in Jacksonville. The Rev. Nathanial Hollaway officiated the 3 p.m., double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Michele Ann Nolen of Durham, N.C.; and Bobby Dwayne Nolen of Phoenix. Her grandparents are Richard and Barbara Parrish of Phoenix.
The groom, a former resident of Holcomb, is the son of David and Janelle Livingston of Florissant, Colo., and formerly of Holcomb. His grandparents are Herb and Joan Livingston of Garden City; Mike and JJ Triebold of Woodland Park, Colo.; and Dale and Lois Wilken of Highland Ranch, Colo.
Matron of honor was Jenna Livingston, the groom's sister from Florissant. Bridesmaid was Alexis Byram, the bride's sister from Durham.
Best man was Chase Livingston, the groom's brother from Florissant. Groomsmen were Brendan Pfeifer of Holcomb; and Dalton Nolen, the bride's brother from Phoenix.
Music selections included "Are You Going To Kiss Me Or Not" and "My Best Friend."
The ceremony was followed by a reception, given by the bride's mother, at the Jacksonville Conference Center.
The bride graduated from high school and is now attending college in Jacksonville. The groom graduated from high school and is now serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.
