Wedding: Motley-Groth

Erika Motley and Justin Groth, both of Garden City, were married June 23, 2012, at Lee Richardson Zoo in Garden City. Pastor Michael McVey officiated the 5 p.m., double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of John and Ginger Motley of Garden City. Her grandparents are Delmer and Donna Towns of Garden City.

The groom is the son of William and Jennifer Groth of Scott City; and John and Brenda Taylor of Ponca City, Okla. His grandparents are Dwight and Sue Leatherman of Ponca City.

Matron of honor was Skye Clark of Kearney, Neb. Angela Adler, Alison Guerrero and Cassondra Champ, all of Garden City, were the bridesmaids.

Best man was William Kirk Groth of Scott City. Groomsmen were William Groth, Ty McCulloch and Bryce Fairleigh.

Peace Phillips was the flower girl. Ringbearer was Braydon Groth. Both are from Garden City.

Serving as ushers were Jacob Brungardt of Garden City; and Wes Spangler of Holcomb.

Organist was Phyllis McVey of Garden City.

The ceremony was followed by a reception at the VFW in Garden City.

The bride is a student at Garden City Community College and a child care taker at Community Daycare.

The groom graduated from Garden City Community College and is a welder at Western Steel Automations.

After a wedding trip to Denver, the newlyweds are at home in Garden City.
