Jack and Dixie Beery announce the engagement of their daughter, Hanna B. Beery of Garden City, to 1st Lt. Todd W. Maneth. He is the son of John and Sandy Maneth of Great Bend.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of the University of Kansas and furthered her education at Johnson County Community College.

Her fiancee graduated from the University of Kansas and serves in the U.S. Marine Corps.

They plan to marry in the fall of 2013.
