The bride-to-be and her fiancee graduated from Garden City High School. She graduated from Fort Hays State University with a master's degree in clinical psychology. She is employed by Area Mental Health Center.
Her fiancee had worked as a corrections officer in Norton for five years and now is a mechanic at Kansas Department of Transportation.
They plan to marry April 27, 2013, at the home of John and Connie Williams in Topeka.
