Jim and Beth Dennis, former Satanta residents now living in Goddard, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family celebration at a later date in Wichita.

Hosts for the occasion will be their children: Cindy Dennis of Wichita; Ken and Janet Dennis of Dighton; Debbie and Stan Rinehart of Sublette; and Diane Dennis of Wichita.

Jim Dennis and Beth Akers were married March 8, 1953, at the Methodist Church in Kendall. They have six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
