Jodie Rochelle Jennings and Leighton James Werth were married May 20, 2017, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays, with Father Barry Brinkman and Father Alvin Werth, great-uncle of the groom, officiating.

Parents of the couple are Russ and Judy Jennings, Lakin, and Mark and Simone Werth, Hays.

Grandparents of the couple are Pearl Beseker, McPherson, the late William "Bud" Beseker, the late James P. and Jeanne Jennings, Francis and Jacquelyn Braun, McCracken, and Kenneth and Elaine Werth, Schoenchen.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Honor attendant was Julie Jennings, sister of the bride. Attendants were Megan Armstrong, Megan Jenisch, Sarah Heeter and Maddison Schneider, all friends of the bride, and Jennifer Werth, sister-in-law of the groom.

Best man was Cameron Werth, twin brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Kyle Kirmer, Christopher Clark and Al Krebs, all friends of the groom, and Joseph Jennings and James Jennings, brothers of the bride.

Ushers were Tyler Hallagin, Lance Schmidtberger and Ben Martin, all friends of the groom.

Ringbearer was Aiden Werth, godchild of the groom.

The bride is a 2010 graduate of Lakin High School and a 2014 graduate of Fort Hays State University with a bachelor of science degree in biology. She is pursuing a doctor of dental surgery degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry with an expected graduation date of May 2018.

The bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Thomas More Prep-Marian High School, a 2011 graduate of FHSU with a bachelor of arts degree in chemistry, and 2015 graduate of University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry with a doctor of dental surgery degree. He is a general dentist with Dr. Troy Hallagin, Hays.

Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the newlyweds are at home in Hays.
