TODAY, MAY 4

Miles of Smiles Therapeutic Riding Program: Volunteers are needed to help during the summer session. New volunteers must attend a training/informational meeting at 2 p.m. at 901 W. Maple St. Experience with horses and/or disabilities is not necessary to volunteer. Sessions runs from May 28 to June 27, with lessons on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Thursday mornings. Volunteers, who must be age 14 or older or accompanied by an adult, can choose the time and day they want. For more information, call 260-9997 or 271-4925.

Health Department

Hours at the Finney County Health Department, 919 Zerr Road, are 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Friday hours are 8 a.m. to noon.

The following events are scheduled at the Senior Center of Finney County, 907 N. 10th St., unless otherwise noted. Anyone 55 years of age or older is welcome to participate.
