MONDAY, DEC. 31

New Year's Eve party: 8 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. in the gym at Garden Valley Church, 1701 N. Third St. Every half-hour leading up to midnight will feature a new group activity or entertainment including limbo, the Balloon Blow-off, relays and more. Other activities will include crafts, foosball, ping-pong and pool. At midnight, horns will blow and a giant ball of goodies will crash to the floor. No admission will be charged but organizers suggest bringing a snack to share. For more information, call Hannah at 271-1330.

TUESDAY, JAN. 1

Musical variety program: Featuring David Pelto, 7 p.m. at Garden Valley Retirement Village, 1505 E. Spruce St. For more information, call 275-5036.

SATURDAY, JAN. 5

Future Buster Cheer and Dance Clinic: For boys and girls age 6 to 14, featuring activities from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Dennis Perryman Athletic Complex at Garden City Community College, 801 Campus Drive, with evening basketball game performances at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Cost is $30 per child. Health Department

Hours at the Finney County Health Department, 919 Zerr Road, are 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Friday hours are 8 a.m. to noon.

Senior Center

The following events are scheduled at the Senior Center of Finney County, 907 N. 10th St., unless otherwise noted. Anyone 55 years of age or older is welcome to participate.

Open pool: 1 to 4 p.m. today.

Fiddlers, Pickers and Singers: 5 to 9 p.m. today.

Dominoes and open pool: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.

Lunch: Served at noon Wednesday through Friday.

Line dancing: 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Pinochle: 12:40 p.m. Wednesday.

TOPS: 9 a.m. Thursday.

Art class: 10 a.m. Thursday.

Gentle exercise: 11 a.m. Thursday.

Ambassador Singers practice: 1 p.m. Thursday.

Life Writers: 1 p.m. Thursday.

Line dancing: 8:30 a.m. Friday.

Bridge: 12:45 p.m. Friday.

Meals on Wheels is available by calling 272-3620; Mini-bus, 272-3626; Senior Center, 272-3620.
