Wedding: Martin-Proffitt

Shiraya Elizabeth Martin and Cole Daniel Proffitt, both of Tulsa, Okla., were married June 24, 2012, at Southern Hills Baptist Church in Tulsa. The 6:24 p.m., double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Tony McCallie.

The bride's parents are Scott and Amy Martin of Highland, Mich. Her grandparents are Jack Anderson of Vincennes, Ind.; and Debra Comtau of Warren, Mich.

The groom is the son of Boyd Proffitt and Maureen Krantz of Garden City. His grandparents are Barbara McKenna of Garden City; and the late Earl and Vola Proffitt of Garden City.

Maid of honor was Debra Nicklas of Tulsa. Bridesmaids were Carli Miller, Macy Burum, Aubrey Martin, Genae Smith, Holly Erickson, Moriah Nogoy and Trish Witmer.

Best man was Brevin Dawes of Garden City. Groomsmen were Jason Proffitt, Buck Beymer, Jarrett Payne, Tim Kirchoff, Sean Love, Robert Krysl and Jacob Lewandowski.

Flower girls were Aeryn McCallie, Riley Loeppke and Ava Grace Schaffer. Ringbearer was Preston Martin.

Serving as ushers were Josh and Jericho Martin.

The ceremony was followed by a reception at the church.

The bride is a student at Oral Roberts University.

The groom graduated from Oral Roberts University and is now pursuing a master's degree. He is the children's pastor at Southern Hills Baptist Church.

After a wedding trip to Cozumel, Mexico, the newlyweds are at home in Tulsa.
