Wedding: Norton-Arnold

Courtney Norton and Tim Arnold, both of Wichita, were married July 21, 2012, at Deerfield Community Center in Deerfield. Judge Wendel Wurst officiated the 6 p.m., double-ring ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Kim and Rebecca Norton of Deerfield. Her grandparents are Joe and Janis Dreiling of Deerfield.

The groom's parents are Duke and Terri Carter of Melrose, Iowa.

Maid of honor was Mackenzie Nix of Hays.

Best man was Rick Arnold of Melrose. Kyle Engler of Melrose was the groomsman.

Serving as ushers were Andrew Norton, the bride's brother from Lawrence; and Tyler Kipfer of Albia, Iowa.

The ceremony was followed by a reception, given by the bride's parents, at Deerfield Community Center.

The bride is a student at Wichita State University.

The groom, a union ironworker, graduated from Albia High School in 2003 and attended WATC.

The newlyweds are at home in Wichita.
