Senior center pinochle

Brenda Myers won high in the four tables of senior center pinochle played Wednesday at the Senior Center of Finney County, 907 N. 10th St. Second place went to Bob Baker. Isabel Finch took third.

Beacon Booster 4-H

Beacon Booster 4-H Club met April 8, with 10 members answering roll call by naming their favorite hobby. A visitor, Mary-Lynn, gave a presentation about her trip to Japan.

LaRae Boaldin read last month's minutes, which were approved as read. She also gave a program about market beef. Christina Kendall gave the reporter's report and said that she had submitted last month's article to the newspaper. Keith Strasser talked about the photography meetings set for July. Alicia Harp said that the Courageous Kids would be joining Beacon Booster club for Relay for Life.

Jensen Strasser acknowledged birthdays, with one honoree. Baylee Hutcheson led the group song, "The Pirate Song." Recreation was the "Limbo" game.

Shirley Klotz won high in the two tables of senior center bridge played Friday at the Senior Center of Finney County, 907 N. 10th St. Betty Nally took second place. Third went to Evelyn Branson.
