Engagement: Ramsey-Emberton

Dan Ramsey of Wamego and Sara Ramsey of Scott City announce the engagement of their daughter, Annie Ramsey, to Curtis Emberton. He is the son of Robert Emberton of San Antonio and Wanda Barton of Scott City.

The bride-to-be graduated from Scott Community High School in 1998 and from Kansas State University in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in family studies and human services. She plans to graduate as a registered nurse in May from the Garden City Community College Nursing Program. She is employed at Scott County Hospital.

Her fiancé graduated from Scott Community High School in 1998. He is employed by Western Bearing & Belt.

They plan to marry Aug. 7, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Scott City.
