Engagement: Schweer-Hatanville

Mark and Jamie Schweer of Garden City announce the engagement of their daughter, Dali Lynn Schweer, to Bryan Craig Hatanville. He is the son of David and Vickie Pitcock, and Craig and Virginia Hatanville of Roxton, Texas.

Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Clara Faye Schweer and the late Arnold Schweer of Garden City; and Bill and Rhonda Allen of Abernathy, Texas.

The bride-to-be graduated from Garden City High School in 2004, from Texas Tech University in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in agricultural communications and from Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2012 with a master's degree in counseling and student affairs. She is a senior admissions recruiter for Texas A&M University-Commerce.

Her fiancee graduated from Prairieland High School in 2001. He owns Bryan's Fabrication & Welding.

They plan to marry Oct. 19, 2013, at Chisum Trails Cowboy Church in Paris, Texas, with a reception to follow at Heritage Hall in Paris. A reception is planned for Nov. 9 in Garden City.
